Spa Review: The Claremont Resort & Spa in Berkley California
The Claremont Resort and Spa certainly lived up to its historical charm and sophisticated traditions. I was fortunate to spend a day at the spa recently, and I look forward to a return visit very soon.
The Claremont Resort and Spa has been a landmark in Berkley, California for nearly 100 years. The spa is luxurious and the staff is known for their professional skills in pampering guests beyond their expectations and I can certainly attest to that!
Out of an amazing spa menu of creative and very enticing spa packages, I selected the Mayan Temple Journey, and would select it again.
I arrived early for my full morning of pampering, so I had some time in the whirlpool to fully relax from my hectic week. Then I was gently submerged into an herbal bath of desert sage and juniper followed by a body scrub of blue corn and rice powder. It was fabulous and my skin felt so soft and refreshed. The body scrub was followed by a simply glorious hydrating mousse of avocado and lime along with a cactus glaze that left my skin feeling silky smooth.
If there was any tension or stress left in my body or mind at this point it was certainly eliminated during the avocado stone massage. My spa experience at The Claremont Resort and Spa was unparalleled. I highly recommend anyone in the Bay Area to visit the spa.
